BUMP
My current BCS is maxed out and am keen on getting some updates rolling. I love the BCS's web based interface but without the above updates, I may have to settle for a PLC

Hardware updates
Hey community,
Anyone have any updates RE the following:
I/O expansion board - due Q3 2018
Analogue inputs?
I have an old BCS462 but am looking to upgrade and the above two points would seal the deal on a new BCS.
Cheers,
Damo - Melbourne, Australia

Re: Recipe Utility
I seem to be having the exact same issues with my BCS Utilities, it connects (green arrow) but often gets stuck on 'Loading data from BCS'.
Anyone have any solutions on this?

Re: BCS 4.1.2 Firmware Release
Has anyone had any luck with the BCS Utilities? Mine seem to be very unstable and will work for a bit and then will get stuck on 'Loading data from BCS', even with the correct IP address.
I used to use the Recipe tab a fair bit but it now seems to be pretty much useless.
Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Can't update the firmware using tftp server on mac
Update: In the end I gave up on my mac and tried it on Windows. Still couldn't get it to work for a while but in the end managed to finally update it. Turns out you cannot use any special characters or spaces in the folder that contains your firmware update file. For anyones reference, I just connec...

Digi16
Hi everyone, A few of my outputs died the other night and as such I don't have enough to run my system so it's effectively offline until I can get some more. Does anyone have a digi16 they are not using and wish to sell? Brewers Hardware don't seem to have any and I imagine they won't for a while. T...

Can't update the firmware using tftp server on mac
Hi Guys, I am really struggling to update the firmware using tftp server for mac. I have done absolutely everything I can think of. I have even done a hard reset on the bcs and still cannot get the firmware to update. I have tried absolutely every IP address I can think of. I have tried both directl...

Re: Damaged BCS
Thanks for your reply oakbarn. Unfortunately I have tried all of that. Cycling the power results in no change, I have turned off the 'run at power on' thing for all my processes and from memory, I don't have any ladder logic. The only thing I haven't tried yet is a hard reset, I'm hoping to not have...

Damaged BCS
Hi Everyone, I have been re-wiring my brewery this weekend and I think I may have accidentally damaged my bcs. Not sure exactly what happened but possibly ran some 12V through either some outputs or some temperature probes. Anyway, now with 'all stop' on the bcs and only the bsc receiving power, the...
