Brewery Diagramming Software
Can anyone recommend a good software solution for diagramming your brewery layout? Ideally I would like to find a solution that contains graphical elements for standard brewhouse items like pumps, valves, kettles, etc. My goal is to document the entire brewhouse and various flow-states of each proce...

General Questions: Processes and Saving Configs
Hey everyone, I have a BCS-462, and have a few beginner questions that I'm hoping someone can shed some light on. 1) When I open up the control page and look at my processes I am shown process 0 - process 7. Is the BCS-462 limited to storing only 8 processes? What is the limitation on the number of ...

Re: BCS 4.1.2 Firmware Release
Has new documentation been released for the 4.1.2 update? The only one I've been able to find is for 4.0 and doesn't outline some of the new features. Also, I noticed that the help links aren't working in 4.1.2 (ex: https://www.embeddedcc.com/r/4.1.2/main/outputs)
Thanks!
Thanks!

Suggestion: Document the hard reset feature
Hey everyone, After running into some issues today with performing a hard reset on my BCS-462, I found that I couldn't find any resources that clearly outlined this process (what it does, how to do it, or how to find the darn reset button). I'd like to suggest you add this to the documentation as it...

Re: Can't connect after assigning static IP
Thanks JonW you saved my butt here! For those of you struggling to locate the "reset button" on the BCS-462, it is located on the underside of the case where the mounting rail is found (or at least it was on mine). I missed it several times as it is just a small hole drilled in-line with t...

Re: Can't connect after assigning static IP
Thank you JonW! I've read multiple threads where this reset button is mentioned, but for the life of me I cannot located any sort of button or small input (pinhole) on the BCS-462 nor can I find an image or documentation saying where it might be. I pulled the BCS out of my case a few hours ago and u...

Can't connect after assigning static IP
Hey everyone, I recently upgraded my BCS-462 to firmware 4.1.2. After the upgrade, I decided to try assigning a static IP address, and I think I may have botched things a bit. My home network (Airport Extreme) has a DHCP range of 10.0.1.1 to 10.0.1.200, and thinking I was following the instruction t...

Re: BCS API
LOL, you're asking how the BCS does its magic! Sorry Jon, not asking for the secret sauce, just interested in how it all functions. I'm a developer by trade (full-stack Node, Python, etc.) and currently an API Evangelist for Akamai (so my day is filled with APIs), so you could say i have more than ...

Re: BCS API
Not sure what you're asking for here. Can you be more specific? Looking for information about how the API is developed/run on the device itself. I'm not terribly familiar with programming microcontrollers and was just curious what went into getting data from the device out through the API. Thanks, ...
