This still the official walkthrough for F/W updating?
Been on a brewing haitus for several years. Tried to get back into it in 2016 but some parts in my ePanel broke. Got it all repaired and ready to rock and roll, but ran out of time this weekend. Wanted to see about the latest Firmware for the 462 (I also have a 460) and where to download all the necessary files. Saw another post about updating via USB, but I don't think my unit has any USB port.
My 462 is 4.0.0 build c5bda61
last I was looking at this some years ago could build graphic symbols for your hardware and process.
Somewhere I have a bunch of instruction PDF files for the BCS another user sent me, which I've yet to read and digest.
Calibration of my temp probes I think has also eluded me. One of mine is off by a few degrees. Found some complicated discussion about adjust coefficients on a browser bookmark that I can never get through reading.
also, before diving down the rabbit hole, is there a changelog for the latest firmware so i can see what all the hassle is going to fix or add for me?
Thanks again!

460/462 are not via USB. That is only for the 482.

Re: Howto: Update the Firmware of a BCS-460
Quickie question. Can I go from my current 4.0.0 build c5bda61firmware directly to the latest 4.1.3 or do I need to go stepwise? I understand the latest version is for the newer 480 series BCS, and I have both a 460 and a 462, so wondering which is the most current firmware for those models?
Will I lose my programmed processes when I do a firmware update?
I had run into some snags getting the TFTP server downloaded because of Internet protection nannys but I got that done and was planning to do this tonight or as soon as I hear back.
Thanks!

Re: Howto: Update the Firmware of a BCS-460
4.1.2 is the latest version for both the 460 & 462 (same file). The 4.1.3 version only had fixes that applied to the 482.

Re: Howto: Update the Firmware of a BCS-460
Important: Do a Backup of your BCS PRIOR to updating the firmware. All of your Settings and
Processes are removed from the BCS and it is reset to the Factory Defaults when you do a firmware
update. This is similar to doing a Rest to Factory Defaults or a 15 Second Reset
