I decided to open a new thread so as to not hijack the 4.0 Beta one.
I tried to use the config migrator on a BCS 462 without success.
1. I saved a Configuration file in 3.7.1
2. I updated firmware to 4.0
3. I opened the github migrator
4. I put the IP Address of the BCS 462
5. I choose (or browsed) the saved file from step 1.
6. I clicked the blue button.
I tried with the BCS UI Open and closed both in Chrome and IE
Nothing. I tried both Chrome and IE (latest version 11). I do not have Firefox as I no longer use it.

Not really looking for a resolution but just reporting my try.
Configuration Migrator
Re: Configuration Migrator
It does not matter whether the BCS UI is opened or closed. When you put in the address of the BCS did the field turn green?
Re: Configuration Migrator
It does not turn green.

Re: Configuration Migrator
check your url again- you have a / in place of a .
Re: Configuration Migrator
Wish it was that easy. I had tried many times and guess I entered the IP Address with the "/" when sending in the report. Still No Joy. It does change color but still does nothing. I disabled my firewall and it had no effect.
Re: Configuration Migrator
Do you have BCS Authentication turned on? If so, you need to disable that first. Are you able to get the box around the IP address to turn green using any of the other utilities?
Re: Configuration Migrator
BCS Authentication turned off. Basically I did the Firmware Update and went to the Configuration Migrator
I tried the Recipe App and it connected to the BCS.
I tried a Backup and that worked.
Now the Configuration Migrator works. Go figure.

Re: Configuration Migrator
WIERD!!!
1. I went back to the Configuration Migrator and it would not work.
2. I tried the RECIPE Utility and it would not work.
3. I tried the Back Up Utility and it worked fine.
4. I tried the Configuration Migrator again and it worked.
5. I tried the RECIPE Utility again and it worked.
Looks like I have to Rub my Tummy, Pat my Head, Do a Back Up and things will work.
I never changed the IP Address between tries so the IP Address was good.
