Re: VFD speed control possible?

Mostly for my own records and ability to find it later, but also to keep for posterity anyone else who might go down this road... From doing some basic initial reading of that article, I found the following comment: "If your dial gauge measures up to 5 volts, just the resistor and capacitor giv...

Re: VFD speed control possible?

Thanks for that lead, I will research that some more. I didn't think that the potentionometer control was basically PWM. That opens up more areas for me to look into. Thanks again.

VFD speed control possible?

I've been racking my brain, and thought I'd bring this to a more experienced group. I am building a new panel wanting to eliminate all physical buttons/switches as much as possible and depend on the UI of the BCS. My problem; I run two 3-phase pumps in my system, run by VFDs (variable frequency driv...

LED temp gauges with black background and red/green text?

For viewing purposes, having a black background for the LED style temp gauges has been great for me with 3.7 In screenshots of 4.0 however it appears the background is white. Is there going to be a change to black, a choice between black/white background? The contrast of the red/green text just read...

Hysteresis not kicking in at setpoint (over "heating")

I have a very simple cooling on/off process running on a newly purchased BCS-462 running 3.7 I have had an original 460 and just recently sold a 462 in order to build a new system. So I am familiar and comfortable programming processes, etc. The first thing I bought was this new 462. I am reusing my...

Re: Toggle switch with 2 led lights

How would I manipulate this in order to use 120v led lamps? Or, could I use a 6v lamp like this ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/LED-Accident-Indicator-Light-Pilot-Signal-Lamp-Multiple-Voltage-Color-Select-/120825461997?pt=Lamps_US&var=&hash=item61cd2e7ab9 ) and power it using the 5v+ output on the...

Two elements controlled with one output?

Wanting to move to 10+ gallons batches, I am wanting to run two 4500w elements in my BK controlled by a single out; from my understanding I just need to run a control wire from say Out0 to each ssr for the two different elements in the BK. Correct? When I am running larger batches I would run a duty...

Re: Which hard reset for a static ip address change?

Success! My BCS is now wireless! It is a very nice feature... and I must admit it is pretty sweet to be sitting on the couch with the wife and pull out the ipod and check on my brewery! Thanks again. Next thing is, I will need to start getting into the nitty gritty of processes; so far I have had ve...

Which hard reset for a static ip address change?

I want to set a static ip for my bcs, but in the ethernet settings it states that I need to perform a reset before the change takes effect. Well, the wiki "reset" instructions do not explicitly cover this. Do I need to hold it between 0-10 seconds, 10-20, 20-30 seconds...? Thanks. I am inc...
