New Feature Request - Minimized Task Bar Temp Display
I was thinking about getting a TV Tuner card so i can watch some tube while I'm brewing. The problem is that I want to have some clue what is going on with the brewery while Im watching. Is there a way you could incorporate a skin or taskbar item that displays the temperatures while the screen is mi...

Re: Idea for Alert/Alarm/Popup Features
I was thinking that i would just have an alarm for standard additions. So i would have an alarm every fifteen minutes for hop additions. If i didnt have a 45 minute addition, i would just click through the alarm.

Re: Help connecting to BCS through another computer
Ok. I thought maybe there was a way, sort of like an ad-hoc network connection I could establish through the brewery computer. I will try the VNC first and see if i can manage it this way. Im not planning on running the BCS through VNC, just tinkering with it so i can fiddle around while the old lad...

Solid state relay question
This may be a dumb question, but, given the same load (say 23amps), with PID control, with the same mounting, will a 50A SSR run cooler than a 25A SSR? I read this somewhere, and didn't know if it was true. I have a custom aluminum enclosure, and i was thinking if i could mount the SSR's directly to...

BCS worked in IE, not in Firefox or Safari
I got my BCS about two weeks ago, and have been having a hell of a time getting it to sync up with Firefox and Safari. I would type in the IP address of the BCS (plugged in to my 'puter), and it would always get stuck on the startup page on both Firefox and Safari. The weird thing is that it seems t...

Re: New Control Panel Setup (Help with SSR's)
Hey all, First post, just got my BCS a week ago and am just working on wiring up my control box (pictures to come later) I am using the same SSR's to control as the OP listed. I plan to use one SSR for each leg of a 240V heat stick. The Crydom spec sheet lists a "typical input current" of ...
