Re: Updating firmware via USB DFU
Took some time this morning to take off the end plate that has the USB connection. After taking the end plate off, I plugged in the usb cable to my computer and received a tone that something was plugged into my computer. Windows came up with a message that the BCS-482 is connected. Zadig even displ...

Yes, it's one of the 1st batch units with the thicker end plates. I'll try without the end plate tomorrow or this weekend.

Re: Updating firmware via USB DFU
No unknown devices in Device Manager, and no sound on the computer when I plug the usb cable from the BCS in. If I plug any other device into the USB ports like an iphone into the computer it does make a sound though.

Re: Updating firmware via USB DFU
Thanks for confirming. I was using a Dell XPS 12 with Windows 10 Pro.
I have List All Devices checked.
I'll try using my docking station or another computer to see if I can get a different result.

Re: Updating firmware via USB DFU
Is the Zadig program supposed to list the BCS when I have my Windows Laptop hooked up to the BCS-482 using a USB cable?
I've tried 2 different USB cables, but the only devices that are listed for me are:
- Generic USB Hub
- Integrated Webcam
- Intel Wireless Bluetooth
- Intel Sensor Solution

Re: BCS 4.1.2 Firmware Release
It would be interesting to know what the update consists of and to have the new firmware available. I can only assume that they may be working on instructions on how the new firmware will be applied to those of us that bought the BCS-482 when it first came out since the 482 uses a usb update not an ...
