Re: Backup/Restore function on firmware 4 vs process save/process restore on 3.7
Thanks both of you. Agreed on the WIN buttons. I get it now, I was just playing with someone elses brand new BCS to try and get a feel for it so when I tried to do my exit conditions and no web based inputs were there, I freaked out for a second. The other thing was being used to seeing the state se...

Backup/Restore function on firmware 4 vs process save/process restore on 3.7
I am running a 7bbl production brewery utilizing one BCS-462 for fermentation control for three 30bbl fermenters, one 7bbl fermenter and one 30bbl brite. I have been on firmware 3.7.0 for the past 4 years. Before that, I still had the black case BSC-462 since we opened in 2012. My question is, since...

Re: Temp0 and Temp1 reading same
Finally got to check Temp0 and Temp1 for short. Using a basic Volt/Ohm meter, I get 0.00 when checking across Temp0 and Temp1. I have a short at the BCS. Looks like I am seeking help getting a new unit or fixing the old.

Re: Temp0 and Temp1 reading same
Just verified that the average Temp1 and Temp2 was NOT checked in misc settings. I tried to check, apply, then uncheck, apply to no avail. Thank you, because that is a function my old BCS didn't have because of the older firmware. While I did verify that there are no shorts or crossed wires leading ...

Temp0 and Temp1 reading same
I had to recently purchase a new BCS-462. Previously I had a Black BCS-462 from a several years ago that worked great, until I accidentally zapped a probe with 120v. Fried the BCS. The new BCS-462 has one issue I can't figure. Temp0 and Temp1 are reading the same regardless if I only have one probe ...

Re: Toggle Switch Wiring Question
I just discovered that www.automationdirect.com sells 6V incandescent replacement bulbs for their 24V illuminated switches. Go to the replacement bulb page or search for ECX1900-5. Unfortunately they don't sell LED bulbs in a 6V option. I just got two of the 22MM 3 position switches for my pumps. On...

Re: PID outputs cycling 1 sec with every output period.
Also another question. Since the PID switching thing has happened, I have been turning off the main power in my box which also turns off the BCS. The BCS is connected via a Lynksys router acting as a bridge. When i power on the main box power, which in turn turns on the BCS, at least two times the B...

Re: PID outputs cycling 1 sec with every output period.
Okay. I tried the alarm clock again in Firefox and Safari this morning and while it played once in Firefox it did not play again in Firefox nor did it play again in Safari. I also left the BCS on overnight and this morning it was doing the same thing. Cycling the PID output every output. Which happe...

Re: PID outputs cycling 1 sec with every output period.
I hope I uploaded the config file correctly. If not, just let me know how to and I'll do it. The alarm clock did not work when I typed in alarm_clock.mp3 after the url number of my BCS. I am using Firefox. It gave me a screen with a quicktime player icon with a question mark inside it. Maybe a brows...
