Having trouble connecting through the router
I have a bcs 462 and have been using it directly connected to one of my old computers for a while. I got a long cat 6 cable to connect it to my router now. I turned off bcs then connected to the apple router. When I search for it with the bcs finder it doesn’t find anything. I have manually typed in...

How Long can the wire run be?
Will a long wire run to the temp probes throw the reading off by much? I am running 75-100 feet of cat 5 from the bcs to 3 probes. is this going to throw my temps off by much?

Winery
I got the bcs 460 originally for my brewing hobby, but recently purchased the new 462 for our winery. The reason for doing this is because it was much cheaper than adding on new tank controllers to our original controller cabinet. When we first started i had someone wire up all the tanks and plumb t...

Did i buy the wrong probes?

Re: Valves?
I will be using them for fluid. I was thinking of controlling the transfer from both my fly sparge and the transfer to the bk. I was thinking two for each step, so a total of four. I just built a float switch that will control a pump, so I can get rid of one of the pump outputs. So I should probably...

Re: Newbies guide to mash (very basic)
Sounds just about what i have set up, but i cant get mine to work. It will run through the first state and then alarm, and stop. It never moves to the next state, and i cant even make it go to the next state. On my 3rd or 4th state when i mash out i set my temp to PWM at 25% This picks up heat when ...
