External 7 segment displays
I am researching adding 3 external temp displays to my control panel. According to the Wiki I would connect one external display (DSPLY1) to GND, EXP0 and EXP1, plus add a 12V external power source. The 2 other external displays would then daisy chain from DSPLY1. I would then need to set the receiv...

Re: No Alarm sound
Click on the link below, or copy the urls that I listed below and paste them directly into your browser address bar. What I'm trying to figure out is if your browser can play ANY mp3 first, and go from there. This link is the same mp3 file that the BCS uses, except its copied to my website server. ...

Re: No Alarm sound
I just noticed this disclaimer on the Alarms control section of the BSC web interface:
Note: Recent browser updates have disabled native mp3 support. The Alarm feature may not work on this browser. This feature will be available in a future firmware update.
Guess I'm SOL until it is fixed.

What am I doing wrong? I set the alarm to loop until I shut it off. I am using the default "/alarm_clock.mp3" in system settings, FireFox browser. The text "Alarm On" displays under the Alarm Off button on main control page on a state transition but I get no sound. I verified I c...

Is there a particular reason the 3 temperature calibration points are 32, 104 and 158F?

Re: Mash Cycle program
I should mention I was going to turn on and turn off the pumps with mouse clicks on the appropriate outputs so a state transition would not change the pumps running or not. I think will need to reconfigure hoses at every state change anyway. If I happen to be away from the brewery when mash timer ex...

Re: Mash Cycle program
There's really no difference between State0:Ramp up of HLT and State1:Dough In. Both are holding HLT to a temp with the pumpA on. There's nothing wrong with that (especially if you want to insert an alarm or measure the ramp time), just pointing it out. I think it looks very good! Thanks for the in...
