Re: Availability of BCS 462

We could no longer produce the 460/462 due to end-of-life of the processors. Switching to a new processor gave us the capability to design the new units for the expansion options we've always wanted but could not do (due to lack of i/o & memory on the old processor). The new 482 shares a code base w...

Re: Importing old configs 3.7 -> 4.1.1

I don't really need it, but the solution link you posted was something that was only needed on 4.0.0, so I was just curious on the version.

Re: Importing old configs 3.7 -> 4.1.1

Is your BCS on 4.0.0 or 4.1.1?

Re: BCS 462 slow/sluggish

TFTPD is downloadable here: http://tftpd32.jounin.net/ I've used it for years. Very easy to use. Just put your bcs460.bin file in the same folder as the program. Make sure your firewall allows the connection. In the BCS Settings page, input the IP address of your computer that is running the TFTPD p...

Re: Importing old configs 3.7 -> 4.1.1

The config migrator is an online tool. If the jquery links aren't working, well, there's your problem.

It is possible to save the code locally and execute from there, but you need to also save the js files too.

Re: BCS 462 slow/sluggish

Use 4.1.0 or 4.1.1. The file name is bcs460.bin and works for both the 460 & 462 models.

Just FYI - the BCS runs faster with the 4.x firmware.

Re: Importing old configs 3.7 -> 4.1.1

Does the checkmark, IP address and the box title "BCS 4.0 Device" show green? If not, then it's not seeing your BCS.

The IP address must be entered in the format: http://192.168.1.102
e.g. it need the preceeding http://

Re: BCS 462 slow/sluggish

I would update to a newer firmware. 4.0.0 is outdated and had some issues, but nothing that would cause sluggishness.

Re: BCS 462 slow/sluggish

Sluggishness is likely not the BCS, but something with the networking. Even your ping in the screenshot dropped one of the packets and that shouldn't be happening. You need to figure out by process of elimination. My first suggestion would be to plug the BCS into your router and see how it works the...
