Re: BCS-482 - not all outputs appearing in editor

On your 460, you were limited to 6 outputs, all of which had configurable outs. The 482 (just like the 462) has the first 8 outputs as the configurable ones for various temperature control operations. Outs 0-7 can do duty cycle, hyseresis or PID temperature control in addition to direct on/off contr...

Re: BCS-482 - not all outputs appearing in editor

Sounds like maybe you just collapsed the display. Does the label "Output Control Direct On/Off" appear in the editor screen? Click that and it should expand to show the rest of the outputs.

Re: LED displays address change

With them disconnected, can you try using a DMM and see if the circuit is closed when the button is pressed? That will tell you if the button is defective. I'm not aware of any other way to set the address.

Re: Can't find the BCS

What model BCS and what firmware? The BCS defaults to DHCP. The easiest way to get started with it is to plug it into a router that will serve up an IP address.

Re: LED displays address change

Just push and hold the button - maybe a little harder. Never heard of one not being able to be programmed, but I do know from experience on mine that the little buttons can be a bugger to push and hold.

Re: BCS Utilities cannot connect

There have been 4 firmware updates since 4.0.0. Definitely start there.

Re: BCS-462 Not Functional

Reset button is in a small hole on the side of the unit. Usea non-metallic object to push in and hold. You can feel the button kind of click when pushed in properly.

Re: BCS-462 Not Functional

Did you happen to have any kind of surge - power grid or lightning? It's possible the programming has been corrupted. Have you held the reset button for 12-15 seconds to completely reset the unit and see if you can then see it on the network? (it would go back to DHCP at that point, not your fixed I...

Re: BCS-482 Unresponsive

Your description of problems here really sounds a lot like what you went through with your 462 previously. Things were working, then mysteriously not working. Do you know how much current you're pulling through the outputs? The 482 obviously can handle much more current than the 462 could, but you'r...

Re: Outputs(configurable) Disabled

What firmware version are you on? I think this is a UI bug from an earlier version. If you select on or off, it will set it, just won't display it. You should update to the latest firmware 4.1.2.
