Re: "Settings could not be saved!" error
Maybe the Error is an "invalid entry". I have not seen this issue. If you could descibe your process in Dtail, I might be able to duplicate the Error. Is it just one Process or All of Your Processes that will not save. Thanks for the offer, but I think that it's been solved. Reloading the...

"Settings could not be saved!" error
I have been seeing this response when trying to make changes to the 6th process, 7th state for any of the timers or output controls. Everything works properly on states 0-6, but the 7th state just won't save the changes. I'm running Firmware Version 4.0.1 build 84a28e7 Any suggestions? I can tempora...

Re: 4.0 BCS Finder doesn't work
I'm using BCS Finder-1.0-win32.msi which I downloaded on 1/25/2015. It is available in the version 4 documentation at http://docs.embeddedcc.com/finder/

Re: BCS 4.0 Public Beta 3
Yesterday was the first time that I used "Temp Setpoint Adjust" instead of "Process Editor" to change a step in my process. It seems that "Temp Setpoint Adjust" will only accept whole degree increments. This behavior was corrected with Beta 2 for the "Process Edito...

Re: BCS 4.0 Public Beta 2
Just made an observation of the fix for the duty cycle problem. I wanted to verify that everything was working properly before I got too far into brewing a batch. I have the sample period and the output period set to 2 seconds for the output to my boil element. When I looked at the Main Control page...

Re: BCS-462 not responding
I went back to my networked desktop computer and am connected to a D-Link DIR-655 Router and DGS-2205 switch. I have the BCS-462 connected to the 3rd switch position. When I go to the router setup, it tells me that DHCP is enabled and the router address is 192.168.01 with a subnet mask of 255:255:2...

New State Exit Result
Would it be possible to set up a state exit to pause the process? As an example: I have a RIMS system constantly recirculating the mash through the RIMS tube. If I get a reduced flow rate due to losing prime or a problem with the manifold I have an exit condition set up to halt my process if the RIM...

Re: Ramp Temp not updating on Main Control Page
On a similar problem, on the collect data screen, one of the possible data inputs is the temperature setpoint. Why are these tied to the 4 temperature measurements and not to the setpoints for the 6 outputs? Would be nice to see the setpoint ramp up or down along with the actual temperature.

Re: momentary switch to control temp settings
JonW, You're right, I first figured out the minimum PWM value to maintain a boil at minimum volume in my system, conveniently in the middle of the summer. I then then set my lowest PWM value at the nearest 5% increment below that. Worked out to be 45% with a 5500w element. I then programmed 7 other ...

Re: Overall Timer
I have the same conditions, but I solved it by having an elapsed time timer set up in each process. At the end of the day I add up all of the elapsed time values to get the total elapsed time. Not elegant, but it works for me, as each process starts the next one and stops it's own timer.
