Re: 4-20mA and RTD support
I got one of the *FIRST* BCS-462's for valentines day 2011 and I was a BCS fanboy for over 5 years... I hope you can take my concerns seriously... How does one see LED out status indicators when properly mounted in a box? - better would have been to have made external i2C displays that fit a PID 45m...

Re: 4-20mA and RTD support
it is dead, they announced the 482 with no real new capability... unless you count moving pins around and a faster processor, but given what was available, faster cpu was mandatory, not a choice... so right now, looks like my choices are Red Lion or Raspberry Pi and PWM-voltage converters.. truly a ...

Re: how to get 2 'Direct' outputs to show 'on' in same state
The safari version that ships with iOS 9.3 does not support some of the newer javascript standards and that is probably what's causing the problem. We noted that this mean no more support for IE 10 in the release notes but didn't point out the limitations on older mobile devices. I think all browse...

Re: BCS 4.0 .NET API and BCS Temperature Logger
Heck yeah, I'm glad it is getting used. Have you found much use for the data that comes out of it? Mostly is it for record keeping or curiosity? how hard would this be to port/adapt/whatever to run on rPi? specifically the rPi Zero W? I bought my first to use for Tilt Pi, and then bought another to...

no connection... next time it happens I can see if a wireshark of the connection attempt shows anything.

I am not in front of the iPad today, will check version tomorrow, but I have reasons to not upgrade further.

Re: alert when upgrading firmware when backup has not been recently done
is there a way to cache the .json in memory during an upgrade and it is available only until the next power cycle? When the page refreshes after the update a button is not greyed out if that file is persistent in memory and a push of a button loads it from memory?

Re: Driving More than one SSR
A good way to do this might be to put a transistor and a few resistors in a section of shrink tube and be done with it.. Look at the schematic (in the documents section)this project, remove all but R1, R2, and Q2, and you could drive several SSR's, the 2N3904 transistor can do 200mA (and it will wor...

Re: BCS 462 locks up
No, going to a completely new PC did not help either. (this was 4.0.1, FWIW) I suspected it was still operating normally, and we had documented when a 1-hour process-state hadstarted, so we waited, and when that was done, sure enough, it went to the next state, we still could not get in, so power-cyc...
