OK, I'll Post
I warn you readers that I take lousy photos and don't know how to post them, but I'll try a few. I planned to post my project at some point in the future, but since I was posting another photo in the forums this morning, I thought I'd throw one up here with my control panel. This was a home brewery ...

Re: Sight Glass Monitoring
Well I THINK I have attached a photo. I'm not very good at that sort of thing.

Re: Sight Glass Monitoring
OK, I have installed the sight glass bracket and a 5VDC sensor. It is a nice sensor with 2 LED's to indicate power and the "sensing" state. It has a screw to adjust the sensitivity. It came with a screwdriver, but I don't think it had the allen wrench for the bracket screws. I can fill my ...

Re: Sight Glass Monitoring
Jon, I came to the same conclusion that you mentioned in your post. I did see a wiring diagram to that effect also. I ordered a 5VDC sensor that should run at that voltage and provide a signal at that voltage. I ordered the C2A18AP1-P/5V and the bracket that they make. http://www.stedham.com/C2A18.h...

Sight Glass Monitoring
http://www.stedham.com/sightglass.htm After seeing the above link for a bracket that mounts on a sight glass tube and holds a proximity sensor that can detect water, I called the company and inquired about an appropriate sensor. They referred me to a 3 wire sensor and said that 2 wires are for power...

OOOOOOOOOOH! Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you. Thats an awesome link that I've never seen. Anyone want to buy the 5 floats I just ordered from Hong Kong?

Re: Digi16 Won't Fire Outputs
Success!
Turned off and on a couple of times and got things working. Control of the Digi16 outputs was not how I imagined it, but can work for me. Thanks for the support.

Digi16 Won't Fire Outputs
I just hooked up my new Digi 16 which I will use to control a bunch of 24VAC loads (gas valve and solenoid valves). I am using a direct connect to the BCS460 running a newly update V3.3 firmware and I have enabled the exp0 for the new card, which is un-powered (I also tried enabling all 4 card setti...

Gas valve clicking
My BCS-460 seems to be pulsing the output 0 every few minutes for a split second. It does this while no processes or manual functions are being used. Its not enough to really do anything except flash the relay's pilot light and make the gas valve click. While a process is under way, everything seems...

Re: PID Settings & Cycling Question
I tried a simple 2 degree differential before moving to PID. I had like a 6-8 degree overshoot. Perhaps I should mention that I am heating 100 gallons of water with a 300 plus KBTU burner, which makes an overshoot something that can take a while to correct, lol. I'm getting a bit over 3 degrees temp...
