Re: Best Way To Access Two BCS's On The Same PC
I found a solution for $8.00 that has worked well so far. A USB-ethernet adapter. I changed the IP address on the new BCS and open it on another page. Simple easy and reliable. Cheaper than a switch and more dependable than wireless. Thanks again for the suggestions.

I got to the reset button it is towards the front. I am unable to see the BCS with the BCS finder even before I did the update and the BCS was accessible. Ive only done the 15 second reset.

Re: Firmware Update help...
I just installed the update on a new BCS-460 and I can no longer connect to it. Everything went fine during the update and said it was complete but the BCS did not come back up. The ethernet lights flash but unable to view any pages? I tried to do a reset but reset button does not seem to depress? I...

Re: Best Way To Access Two BCS's On The Same PC
Wireless and dependable don't go hand in hand I'm afraid, especially if you're not physically there to reset things if it goes wonky. Plugging both BCS units into a hub is the way to go. I fiddled with wireless bridges etc for years out of laziness, then I finally ran the wires I needed and I'll ne...

Best Way To Access Two BCS's On The Same PC
I am out of PID outputs on my BCS-462 and recently purchased another BCS-460 to dedicate to my new fermenters. Currently I access the BCS-462 locally via a crossover network cable connected directly to my PC. I want to use the same PC and UPS to access the new BCS-460. What would be the best way to ...

Re: BCS-462 does not work after power sag/brownout
I just had one of those ah-ha moments. What if the BCS is coming online so quick that the router which does DHCP isn't online in time, and therefor its not getting its IP? (I have it statically assigned via DHCP so if I factor reset the BCS it will still get an IP I want it at). Does the BCS never ...

Re: BCS-462 not refreshing using Firefox Windows 7 64bit
I had the same problem show up yesterday after the update. It was driving me crazy so I looked into it to see what else was installed and new McAfee security was installed with it. I am all ready using Norton so I removed McAfee and the flickering is gone. Seems every time it did a refresh McAfee wa...
