Re: Output 0-5 malfunctioning, can I resign PID functions?
Fiddled with it a bunch today. Just couldn't get it to work. Decided to just buy a new one. The thing has endured 3 years of abuse. Thanks for your help.

Re: Output 0-5 malfunctioning, can I resign PID functions?
What did you have attached to the outputs? Specifically, what kind of relay, etc. and what type of current draw did they pull? Any lightning strikes? Hate to ask the obvious questions, but have you done a hard reset on it and then rechecked it? Without using PID functions, can you manually turn the...

Output 0-5 malfunctioning, can I resign PID functions?
I have 462. My outputs 0-5 are malfunctioning. 2 of the outputs seem to be completely dead and the other 4 remained powered on regardless of what do I from the control panel. I can work with the remaining outputs if I can assign PID functions to them. However, I can't seem to find a way to resign th...

Re: O.K. Combrewter
Did you have any problem with pump cavitation? Not that I've noticed. The pumps seemed to be fully primed by the time I start them. FWIW, these are the newer morebeer issued "high flow" pumps, which, according to their website, "features a different slightly higher flow rate with les...

Re: O.K. Combrewter
I should mention - since you're bound to notice - that one of the e ball valves is completely redundant. I underestimated the scale of the plumbing when I designed it. When I finally started putting it together it turned out the extra ball valve was the perfect length to bring together the tri-clove...

Re: O.K. Combrewter
Can we see some shots of the control panel guts? Also, would you mind sharing your HMI image? I'm really actually embarrassed with the panel organization. I need to clean it up a bit. I intend to redo it in the near future. http://i.imgur.com/CM4O0.jpg Here's the HMI image. It's a little different ...

O.K. Combrewter
(more or less a repost from my post on HBT) Here's my system, up and running after months of planning: It's a three pump system that was inspired largely by Jon W.'s BCS system. http://i.imgur.com/jlHFn.jpg The stand is a little different than your normal brew stand. The structural component of the ...

Re: relay solenoid problem
It's definitely a compatibility issue with the relay. I just ordered another relay board. The solenoids work perfectly with it.JonW wrote:Are these SSR's rated for DC voltage (control, not input)?
If your solenoids are only 12V control, you should just use a standard relay.

relay solenoid problem
Trying to connect a 12v gas solenoid to the 25a SSR offered by ECC. The solenoid opens when the relay is activated but when the relay is deactivated the solenoid remains open (I have three solenoids and all of them react the same). The solenoid will only close if the power supply is unplugged or the...

Re: Problems with ebay 12v Relay Board
Glory of all glories - I just got it to work. MeLoveBeer,I'm not sure if your diagram colors correspond to the valve wire colors, if so, the only change I have is that yellow should be switched to N0x and red should be Cx - at least that's when it started working for me. Here's a quick picture: http...
