Re: BCS Roadmap
an analog voltage input would be incredibly useful and could be used to measure volume with an analog pressure transducer! also a faster carrier frequency on the PWM out so an analog out could be simulated with a simple RC network!

Re: CIRCUITLAB
I like it!, only issue i see is the input is +5V and GND, not +5V and -5V (which would be 10V potential!).

Cheaper to make in china, where workers rights are not respected. Or pollution laws!

Re: hysteresis vs differental
why not call dead band?? hysteresis in the oil and gas I&C world is usually used to refer to the systems physical or natural delay or lag, and dead band is the programmed delay or lag. It may simplify things to just add gap to your PID controller and eliminate this.

Re: one-shot (momentary) output?
if your using DIN2 as a kill it should be in series with OUT2 and your hold in. otherwise OUT2 could prevent it from dropping out REG0.

Re: E-stop!
for a non true Estop you can run the common from all your outputs through it, this will shut down all outputs unless an SSR has shorted. In that case i use the main breaker on my power distribution panel.

Re: Analog output
an expansion with one or two of these would be awesome! would also solve the RTD problem as you could build a wheatstone bridge to convert the RTD to a 0-5v signal!
