Not liking the new Firmware

Hey all, I recently updated my 462 to the latest Firmware and feel lost and frustrated. I miss temperature averaging, and I can't seem to find "manual control" functionality anywhere. These features were some of the main ones I used and relied on for brewing. Not sure if its been asked bef...

Re: Toggle switch with 2 led lights

Something I did (mainly because I bought the wrong LEDs) is I stacked another set of contacts onto the switches and ran 110V to those, jumpering that 110V to each. Then I ran my LEDs off of those contacts. They light when placed into each mode rather than when there is power to the load side of the ...

+5VDC Power

I couldn't find anywhere on the forums that specifically addressed this question so if I missed it and you know where I need to go I would appreciate the heads up. I have decided to use the +5VDC to power the relays in MAN mode off of 3-way switches. But my question is: can I safely run the +5VDC to...

Re: Humidity Sensors with BCS-462?

Thats a good point....I will make sure that the unit (when installed) has a slight tip to it to allow proper draining. I dont believe that the AC unit will be running all the time to maintain the temperature. We are putting in quite alot of insulation up front in hopes it won't. Judging by what othe...

Re: Humidity Sensors with BCS-462?

Ya I realize that but from what I have been reading when you load the cooler up (especially with liquids or anything with moisture) the coils on the AC have a hard time dealing with that moisture until the AC unit is able to get rid of it to the outside air. That is the reason that some people have ...

Humidity Sensors with BCS-462?

Hi I am new to the forums. I recently bought a BCS-462 for my HERMS setup as well as my Fermentation process. I also am building a walk-in cooler for storage of full kegs and for Lagering as well as general overflow grocery storage. My question is: Can the BCS be programmed to monitor a humidity sen...
