Re: BCS-482 Specifications (replacement for BCS-460/462)

When is the next release and fix of this bug scheduled? Thanks! The bug isn't in the 482, it's in the backup/restore utility. I don't have a date, but I know it's is being looked at. Update? I cannot make changes to my BCS 482 and save them. I have had it crash more than once and had to restore a B...

Re: General Questions: Processes and Saving Configs

Once you get the hang of it, the Process Editing is fairly easy. It is also very easy to change an associated SetPoint when you are brewing. You can make a "generic" process and use the Recipe Utility. Since a lot of my processes are almost the same for different Brews, I simply change it on brew da...

Re: Exit condition sw problem

I tested mine with no issues.

Can you give the exact conditions?
Process #
State #
Exit # (the First One is 0):
Source Type:
Source:
Condition (Greyed out on Digital Input):
Value:
Next State:

The more precise the information is helpful to try to duplicate.

For anyone in need of the thinner end caps, please contact Brewers Hardware as they have them in stock and will mail you one.
I think that the screws holding the plate is a Trox T-10 star bit which you can get at Lowes or Home Depot.

Re: Setting BCS-482 Temps w Recipe Utility

Yes. We are aware of that also. The logic is still looking for out16 & 17 and hangs there. If you have a 462 file, you can restore that to the 482. Any idea when this will be fixed. We have to update out processes because there are two less available Outs on the BCS 482 than the BCS 462. I like to ...

Re: BCS-482 Specifications (replacement for BCS-460/462)

Just got mine. The headers are all tight and I would have to pry them out like on my BCS 462. Looks like it is an issue for you. After I got mine all wired finally, one of the headers comes out very easily. I have to hold my mouth just right to get it to stay and cannot work with any of the wiring ...

Re: BCS-482 Specifications (replacement for BCS-460/462)

OK. So if I get one of the expansion boards, You would take the faceplate off the usb/RS485 side and slide in the board? The way I read it is that the enclosure will house the two exp boards in the same foot print. I also noted that there are now LEDs when an Out is asserted. I assume the same on DI...
