Important: Do a Backup of your BCS PRIOR to updating the firmware. All of your Settings and
Processes are removed from the BCS and it is reset to the Factory Defaults when you do a firmware
update. This is similar to doing a Rest to Factory Defaults or a 15 Second Reset

460/462 are not via USB. That is only for the 482.

Unfortunately, you just got done in. The BCS will ONLY TAKE 9 Characters regardless of what it says. You will need to do a 15 second reset which will reset your BCS to a factory default and you will lose you changes and processes. Hopefully you backed them up.

Did you try reversing the REG to NC? I know I had some issues with the way Ladder Logic and the way REGs work a long time ago. I no longer use that so I am going from memory. It seems counter intuitive at the time.

I use 3 cheap ones in series so if one switches on, the DIN is made. They are over the side so I have no idea what others are using
