4.1.1 Firmware Upgrade for Mac

After much trial and error, I finally figured out how to do a firmware upgrade on a Mac. I set up TFTPserver 3.5.1 using Jcc4507fly's instructions in this link: https://forum.embeddedcc.com/viewtopic. ... 179#p10179 and using the YouTube video: https://youtu.be/TZMxjHls8A8. Here's where I was having...

Re: BCS 4.1.1 Firmware Released

I may have misspoke. I have a wireless router that I added to my home network as a wireless client for the BCS. The BCS is wired to the router client via ethernet. I can find the BCS interface on my browser by typing it's IP address into my browser. I see under "System Settings" the "...

Re: BCS 4.1.1 Firmware Released

I have a 462 that's a few years old (brewery build took a LONG time) with firmware version 3.7.0. After some trial & error, I was able to set up my BCS as a wireless client on my network. It doesn't show up when I use a BCS Finder utility but I was able to hack into my router and find it's IP ad...

Re: is a BCS still a good way to go

Looking at different kits. Would anyone be willing to take a peek at this system and see what you think?

Would this be a good place to start? Can you think of anything that seems like it would be missing? Thank you!

Re: is a BCS still a good way to go

I appreciate the quick responses. It looks like a great system, I just wanted to make sure it was still continuing to be developed. http://www.ebrewsupply.com has some pretty nice panel designs. I'd like to build my own for the learning process but I think buying it as a kit would eliminate a lot of...

is a BCS still a good way to go

I am beginning to build a home electric brewery and am considering implementing a BCS. I did a fair amount of reading on the wiki and read some reviews a while back and was pretty impressed with the capability of the BCS but just wanted to make sure it's the way to go. It doesn't seem that there is ...
