Connecting the BCS directly to a PC I can access it just fine. Plugging the BCS into the router I can see it using arp -a
Pinging the BCS's address gives the error Destination Host Unreachable

Along with the before mentioned analog input capabilities here are some items that would be nice to have: Power indicator light, there is currently no quick method of knowing the system is receiving power. Connection/loss of connection status light.. possible? Plus output terminals for alarm or remo...

Re: Not Responding to Process Request
I tried resetting the BCS and reloading the config files. Same result. The config settings for process 2 have an error so I need to redo that process... oh well
Nope, that didn't do it either... process 2 still won't respond. Turns out the error is in the sys.cfg file...

Re: cscade
I'm sorry your're having trouble! When you say you are "selecting process 2", do you mean choosing it from the "Select Process" box; Screen Shot 2013-02-01 at 11.55.48 AM.png or are you referring to clicking it within the left-hand column on the screen; Screen Shot 2013-02-01 at...

Not Responding to Process Request
I'm programming a BCS 462. Everything has been working fine until...
Selecting process 2 will change the process to process 2 but process 2 will not enable. As in, no light or response from Web Input buttons. Force state jump does nothing.

Re: HMI Workaround
The OS is currently Windows XP Embedded. VB.Net would be my choice based on my years as a developer.JonW wrote:Doesn't have to be javascript. What is the OS on the thin client? I'm currently thinking of re-doing my custom gui (with more features) in either a VB.NET or Delphi stand-alone app.

Re: HMI Workaround
Got it. OK, since it is a thin-client, you have networking built in. You can use a cross-over network cable to attach directly to the BCS so you don't need any router or other hardware. Just set a static IP address on both the BCS and the thin client and plug them together. Your choices from there ...

Re: HMI Workaround
Can you elaborate a little more? The definition of a "thin client" is one that is purely a network device. Thin Client PC running Windows Embedded mounted in the controls cabinet. Running Opera as the browser (only browser that would display and refresh properly) interfaced with a Hope In...
