Re: i2c voltage
So after troubleshooting with Derrin, who talked to Adam, the voltages on both EXP0/EXP1 should be 5VDC each. The problem is not really user serviceable, and the unit needs to be sent back for repair.

Re: Concerned about support
Just to post a follow up: once Derrin got his email situation handled, he provided great support and I have to say my initial concerns have been abated. Derrin followed up through out the weekend and helped resolve the problem.
Thanks Derrin, and I appreciate your time!

Concerned about support
I've been using the BCS-462 for around 6 months, and I've been pretty impressed with its features and performance for a reasonable price. Recently, I've been having problems with the I2C outs driving a OSCSYS PID display not working, and have contacted ECC tech support and posted the question on the...

Re: 7 segment display not working right
I'm not exactly sure what you got when you switched, is the display for 2b still showing? Or is 2a showing? Is it just a problem with one display unit not working? Its really strange if the second display in the daisy chain is the only one working. The problems I've had setting these up are usually ...

HI, I had successfully run 3 PID external displays for a while, and started having some flakiness, which I attributed to using an old 12W PSU (which was probably under powered for running 3 PID displays). After a bit, the displays stopped displaying, but held the correct address and would light up w...

problem daisychaining 7 segment display - SOLVED
HI, I have three PID Display modules from Oscsys.com. I have each display working separately with the proper addresses set. My problem is when I have all 3 connected and power up the system I get 3 flashing displays. I get the same result with just two displays connected, but everything starts fine ...

BCS-462 reassigning PWM outs
HI, First, thanks for everyone who posts here. I've been able to get my BCS-462 setup dialed in by searching the forums. One topic I haven't been able to find any info on is the assignment of the pulse width modulated outputs on the BCS-462. Out of the box, the DOUTS 0-5 are associated with duty cyc...
