Re: BCS-482 Specifications (replacement for BCS-460/462)

Received the power supply with just the plug. Brewers Hardware confirmed we need to cut the cord. Do we plug in (wire#1)to one of the far left plugs 12v and the second wire to ground?

Re: HMI Builder available in 4.0?

Thank you Oakbarn!!! I just ordered a BCS-462 to work with and try to master the HMI. Really struggled with it on my first attempt on someone else's. I think if I have y own to work with it will make things a lot easier. We just added another three 3bbl fermenters and the PID I replaced on our Perli...

Re: New BCS-460 Availability

What is going to be different on the newer ones? I can not find any 460's for sale anywhere. Looking to buy a 460.

Re: what happen to the wiki pages

The new UI is incredible!!! For fermentation, 3.7 was super simple. It just needed two exit conditions and with a simple HMI it is beautiful. I hosted a solid works image of a couple fermenters, added an indicator light in the HMI and when the glycol solenoid was open a big green light was lit above...

Re: BCS 460 controller for sale $140 OBO Shipped.

I am interested. You can send the paypal invoice to "markkeller at bruehol.com" or if you need to call me, 707-327-6768. If you have any goodies like temp probes or the thermisters that you have calibrated for it can you please throw them in? Thank you kindly

Re: HMI Builder available in 4.0?

This is very cool but for fermentation the old HMI was super simple and sweet. Does anyone have the old links to the BCS-462 firmware that used the original HMI. Think it was version 3.7.1? Please let me know. Thank you in advance!!

Re: what happen to the wiki pages

If I wanted to utilize the old HMI for simple fermentation controls would version 3.7.1 be the last version that used the HMI? Found the new process very cumbersome on version 4.+ and for simple fermentation controls with the HMI it was very beautiful. I am using a BCS-460 and would like to do the s...

Re: My version of the HMI builder

Was struggling last night to get a PID display on a fermenter. I could load the image of a fermenter on a kettle but not a "text". This BCS-462 is under utilized only controlling fermenter glocol solenoids. Should I go back to a kettle or better attempted with the "TEXT". Thank you very much!!!

Re: My version of the HMI builder

Thank you very much!!! Looking to manage 8 x 10bbl fermenters with the PID display over the fermenter just as you have shown on the kettles. Going to start making this tonight. The HMI was one of the big pluses for me on the previous firmware version. Looking to use an image for eight fermenters to ...
