Re: "AND" Logic Exit Condition
+1 for this. Since 4.0 has gotten rid of WIN inputs, how would one go about handling a state transition that requires user involvement? For example, say I have a process for mashing. The first step is heat up the mash tun water. Once that is done, (in the 3.x version) I would set a user input to tra...

Re: BCS 4.0 Public Beta 2
Have you actually been using the digi already? or is this something you're designing? I am in the final stages of my build (I actually am nearly done, I swear...). All I have to do is run some conduit on the brew frame and connect the wires to the BCS and it was on to testing and debugging. This is...

Are you using a 460 or 462?

Re: BCS 4.0 Public Beta 2
Digi support will not be included in 4.0 GA. The Digi boards have been phased out due to lack of demand for them and at this point we don't plan on adding support for them in 4.0 and beyond. The implementation caused issues for a lot of people who ended up returning them after they purchased them b...

Re: BCS 4.0 Public Beta 2
Is there an ETA for the Digi support? Just curious if it will be in Beta 3, 4, or not available until 4.0 is GA.JonW wrote:Digiboards are not currently supported in the beta. Registers are something totally different. They are basically flags or variables and are mostly used within ladder logic.

Wiring DIN's with a Digi16
When connecting a Digi16 a 5v wire is ran from the BCS 460 to the (non-powered) Digi16's 5v port. When wiring DIN's how should I get the 5v to the switches? Should I just run two wires out of the BCS's 5v port, one to the Digi16 and other to the terminal on the switch? Is there a concern of putting ...

Re: BCS 4.0 Public Beta 2
Are the Digi boards now supported? I see the ability to assert registers in a state but the relay never turns on if I assert it. Or are registers something else (I just got my enclosure working last weekend so I am still fairly new to this)?

Re: Recipe Utility
I was looking for instructions on how to get that page setup. I assume its a manual process as its not on any of the screens I see in Beta 2. I saw the github repro with the pages, do I need to setup a node server to serve them up?

It doesn't bother me at all. But then again I have been a programmer for over 10 years so 0-based counting doesn't bother me anymore. :S
