bcs 462 avaliable

Brewer’s hardware shows the 462 available Nov 1, the 460 is available now on their site.
I’m excited let’s get this back up to the number brewery controller!!

I was getting worried and about to switch over to brew troller. One after thought, make sure you ground to the kettle it’s self. Before you first fire up the element take an ohm meter and place one end to the kettle and the other to the ground post in connected to the supply power. If your meter gives a nice tone and shows full continuity, only then are you safe...

Going to the heating elements you will have 220 volts, leg A and leg B. You will either have one ssr on one leg and a contactor to pull both legs closed. Basically leg A thru the ssr and the contactor then the element and leg B straight thru to the contactor and then to the element. Or you will run ...

I was wondering what most peole are using to cover their element wires.
Brewers hardware has the coolest set up but it will be acouple of hundred dollars to look cool.
Kal has the most practical i've seen but it appears to on the bulky side.

Is there any other options out there?

That is excatly what i was looking for in a probe a disconnect. I was thinking abbout trying to place a GM weather pack connecter in line and see if it changed the impedance or resistance of the cable.

But if youor tooling up to make these I'll take four?
