Re: BCS Utilities cannot connect

I'll add to the list of users having this issue too. I ended up slowly getting my restore to take by selecting only the System Settings on the restore I then had luck with the rest of the processes by using the lawn-chair version. Not sure if it was a cache issue with the embeddedcc site vs the lawn...

Re: Recipe Utility

I just ran into this too. Been ages since I've brewed and thought I was forgetting a key step. I ended up getting the update to take by using the http://lawn-chair.github.io/bcs-backup/ utility page, not the one linked in from the Settings page. Not sure if my cache was messing things up or if the c...

Re: My version of the HMI builder

This is awesome bbrally. Once again, stepping the BCS's game up. Unfortunately, I'm in the process of moving so my gear is packed up but I did pull my panel out and am playing around with this. Can't wait to get in a new brewing space and get this GUI running for real. Good thinking on the text box ...

Re: MORE PROCESSES

I do what Brahn suggests with setting the time to 0 for steps I don't do. In addition, I have a whole separate setup (completely different config) that I load in for the fermenting stage. There I have i think 5 processes for various ferment cycles but could realistically trim it down to 1 process an...

Re: Operating System Compatibility

The BCS runs independently from an OS- It's only viewed/controlled/programmed with a browser so as long as your browser is compatible (I'd recommend Chrome) you should be good to go. The new 4.0 has mobile compatible layout so even on my android phone (Android 6.0) that makes using it a breeze compa...

Re: How to wire a DIN

By 'float safety feature' I assume you're meaning to prevent an element from firing dry. I'd recommend putting a float switch in the SSR signal circuit so that SSR will only trigger when called to do so by the BCS AND the float is 'up' telling the system that you're element is not dry. I've inadvert...

Re: Recipe utility issues

Yeah- just confirmed it. I'm using Chrome, which what you recommend correct? If that may be relevant.
Wonder if it's an issue with how my exit conditions are mapped or something??

Again- unless it's causing others gripe don't sweat it.
