Re: Source for connectors?

I bought 4 of these, 3 pin ones and will use 4-conductor wire to do 2 probes per connector(I currently do this, but just have 4 wires going through a hole in the box... http://www.ebay.com/itm/171318772490?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&var=470383820958&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT http://th...

Re: BCS 4.0 Public Beta 2

Closed and restarted tftp, reselected target directory and file, still nada.
I just spoke with someone in India. They recommended that I reboot.
Switching to red wine and rebooting.................
*edit*
Red wine worked, reboot, eh.

Re: BCS 4.0 Public Beta 2

Can't seem to get Beta 2 to take. Used same process as Beta 1, even choosing different target directories including directory used for Beta 1 after deleting Beta 1 .bin file and redownloading, nada. TFTP log shows success, but fixes aren't fixed and still shows Beta 1 build number on settings page. ...

Re: Powering 24vac johnson motorized ball valves

Yep, could be you're missing it Tim  A relay, any relay, doesn't give a crap what it is switching (within it's rating). My design described above (currently  ) is using 12VDC relay (coil) to switch 120VAC, 5VDC and 12VDC. I think you're getting crossed up on the power for the relay coi...

Re: Powering 24vac johnson motorized ball valves

Actually all you need to do is add a wall wart to power the relays. 12VDC Relay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/DIN-Rail-Mount-8-SPDT-Power-Relay-Interface-Module-OMRON-10A-Relay-12V-Coil-/131358045962?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e958cb70a 12VDC Wall wart: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Black-DC12V-2A...

Re: Powering 24vac johnson motorized ball valves

Whoops, missed the AC part. Don't know that AC "driven" relays even exist in the control environment. The relay just switches whatever your source is, in this case you'd need a 24VAC transformer to drive your valves anyway. The advantage of 24VDC relays was suggested for situations where t...

Re: Powering 24vac johnson motorized ball valves

Tim, I found a couple. http://www.ebay.com/itm/8-SPDT-Power-Relay-Module-OMRON-Relay-24V-Coil-10A-277VAC-30VDC-/400343390234?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5d3653581a And, for a few more bucks, DIN version looks pretty sweet. http://www.ebay.com/itm/DIN-Rail-Mount-8-SPDT-Power-Relay-Interface-Mo...
