I save the hs_tftp_demo file for the application in the same folder as the .bin file.

Thank you sooo much! The magic was having both the bin file and the FTFP server in the same folder. A small thing but made all the difference.
Have a great weekend.

Re: BCS 4.0 Public Beta 3
For information about version 4.0 and the public betas, please see the post announcing 4.0 Public Beta 1 . All information included in that post is still relevant to this release. Please Note: Public Beta 3 fixes a significant bug in the PID functionality in the earlier 4.0 builds. Please update to...

Re: Howto: Calibrate Temperature Probes
I think i just answered my own question on format. It doesnt matter. Using the default coefficients in the BCS everything works but im not sure on its accuracy. When i enter just my A value and leave the default B &C values my probe temp reads zero. If I load my calculated B&C values and lea...

Re: Howto: Calibrate Temperature Probes
Your default coefficients will depend on the probe you use. Are they the probes that came with the BCS from Brewers Hardware? I believe the newer probes have changed from that original post. That info should be somewhere in the forums. As far as your discrepancy with the values they look OK to me i...

Re: New User Questions
I'll give you a few examples, they helped me when I first started. 2) My pre-4.0 setup had a state setup just before my mashout would start which was a "check mash conversion" state. It essentially paused my process so that I could check that I have full conversion and get some hoses set ...

Re: Howto: Calibrate Temperature Probes
I'm lost, fustrated, and starting to regret this BCS. I have spent hours trying to calibrate my probes. Please help. I've read the instructions and came up with the three coefficients. When I plug them in, my temperature read out show zero. So, taking a step back and trying to understand the coeffic...

Re: New Brewer build
I have my BCS panel just about complete. Waiting for a new relay board. Should be here soon http://i1256.photobucket.com/albums/ii492/mtdunlop/957950BF-5C0C-445D-8859-6FF880625BC7.jpg http://i1256.photobucket.com/albums/ii492/mtdunlop/7E43AF27-8522-45B5-8FEA-CF4FD88A8495.jpg http://i1256.photobucket...

Re: Another relay module issue
The board you linked would work perfect - I have the same board, but DIN mounted. They're not flimsy at all. The other board you described sounds like it would work as well. Since you bought the other through Amazon, I would think it would be an easy return process for your $20. If you wanted to ma...

New Brewer build
I have learned a tone from this site and thought I would share my build. It's still a work in progress but I think in another month I will be live. My system has two control panels. My main panel allows full automation from the BCS and provides a manual control if ever needed assuming the BCS falls ...

Re: Another relay module issue
Thanks guys! This has been a learning experience. I hope learning to program and create processes with the BCS will be easier to learn. Some of the HMI discussion had me concerned. I have seen a few that allow a jumper to provide active low or hi. I dont think mine has this. I have $20 into the rela...
