Re: BCS 4.1.3 Firmware Release
Belatedly, I'm wondering if there'll ever now be a 4.1.3 for the BCS460/2? Back in 2019 it was "coming later". I don't have issues with 4.1.2 but do like to keep abreast of the latest software. I must also say that I've had 100% performance from my 460 for several years now - never let me ...

Re: Updating firmware via USB DFU
Running the installation command line under Homebrew (/usr/bin/ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homeb ... er/install)") it asks for a password - it shows a key. What do I do to get around this?

Re: BCS-482 Specifications (replacement for BCS-460/462)
Yes, that's certainly one idea. Maybe another could be to insert some code that could (optionally) automatically add your JSON file name to this field each time you upload it? As I don't do coding, no idea whether this is even feasible.

Re: Brewery Diagramming Software
Yes, try bbrally here: https://forum.embeddedcc.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2943&p=12299&hilit=bbrally#p12299 This GUI is excellent and he's done some great work. This is my latest iteration (hope link works :? ). It's great if you're demonstrating visually to others how your brewery system...

Re: BCS-482 Specifications (replacement for BCS-460/462)
Yes, me too - IMHO it's really good for that. In particular it facilitates tinkering with the process variables. Parameters such as brew size (5 or 10 galls), strike and mash temperatures, timing, pump / ball valves / floats etc. are examples of parameters that I store as JSONs for different brews d...

Re: BCS-482 Specifications (replacement for BCS-460/462)
As an aside but related to this, meant to ask if it's possible -or could be- to see the currently uploaded JSON file name somewhere - maybe in Settings or even on the Main control page???

Re: BCS-482 Specifications (replacement for BCS-460/462)
The pre-release version of utilities you posted (http://lawn-chair.github.io/bcs-backup/) works fine for my restore - all good now for both up- and down-loads.
Thanks much!

Re: BCS-482 Specifications (replacement for BCS-460/462)
The bug isn't in the 482, it's in the backup/restore utility. I don't have a date, but I know it's is being looked at. So, does this bug also affect the BCS 462?? Like several others, I regularly use the backup/restore utility to save process formats for different brews and conditions. So far it's ...

Re: My version of the HMI builder
Cool. FYI, one edit function I'd thought might be useful especially when laying out a new canvas or editing an existing, would be to enable some form of 'group' shifting of objects -somewhat like in Powerpoint- to maintain relative positions or facilitate formatting - even to move the whole design i...

Re: My version of the HMI builder
Thanks - all clear. Once again congrats for making this brilliant GUI available to the public - all my friends have admired it so so much, not least because it brings the BCS to life! I look forward to seeing any future enhancements and hopefully mainstreaming in support of the BCS.
