My supply is 5 VDC 5 amps which is way more than the BCS will need. I plugged it into the wall last night and measured 5.8 V output with the trim pot turned all the way up. This is going to work fine and will be much more robust.

Does anyone know the cutoff voltage for the voltage regulator in the 462? My wall wort let out the magic smoke and I am going to replace it with a medical grade power supply. First of all Bravo on the new interface. Once I switched over to chrome and found the new bcsfinder the base system works great. easy setup and easy to see the states that are running. So I tried the setting 1 variable in the recipe variable page. Mash TEMP I set I think 3 drop downs for the process...

I have chrome and will try it tonight. Initially I was using firefox but it had problems with the update rate. If that is it then great but the finder utility was not seeing it. I am wondering if I waited long enough when it was powered down. Will post tomorrow if the browser fixes it. Thanks.
