Re: Availability of BCS 462

Pardon my ignorance, I've searched but not found anything - what's changed with the 482's?

Thank you!

Re: Howto: Calibrate Temperature Probes

Sorry for my ignorance here but once I've done the calibration and saved those settings, where do I go to view my coefficients?

Re: Howto: Calibrate Temperature Probes

Can I migrate temp sensor 2 settings to temp sensor 5 though somehow? or even to another BCS?

Re: Howto: Calibrate Temperature Probes

In my best professor farnsworth voice - Good news everyone! My 4 probes are calibrated. I did temps at 32, 152, and 202 (water only seemed to be boiling by my element). I tried at 180, and it definitely didn't like the variation. Now all 4 probes seem to sense within ~0.5 degrees of one another and ...

Thanks guys, I didn't realize being a tenth of a degree off would screw with things, ill try again tomorrow with the tips you suggested.

Re: Howto: Calibrate Temperature Probes

The bcs is grounded to earth ground, probe ground is connected to ground on the bcs.

Tempos don't swing, they move a few tenths in the water bath but they seem as stable as my thermogenesis except they're off by a few degrees

Re: Howto: Calibrate Temperature Probes

I'm still getting pretty frustrated...I hadn't tried the sampling page before, i was just manually refreshing the resistance values from the BCS directly. The Sampling tool certainly makes that job easier, however I'm not even getting usable results now. (Probe 0) HLT Temp 30971.8229 4759.3934 2220....

Re: Howto: Calibrate Temperature Probes

Hello! I've been having some issues calibrating my BCS temp probes. One of my probes seems to read great, the other two I'm trying to calibrate are 8-10 degrees off. Is it safe to just use the offset tool in the bcs utility? or should i tweak the resistance coefficients until the temps are read accu...

Re: BCS Programming Help - elements not turning off

For my elements, I'm using Teledyne relays, http://goo.gl/bs6aDu For my pumps and alarm, i'm using the DIN Rail mounted relays. http://www.ebrewsupply.com/din-rail-mount-4-spdt-power-relay/ The BCS 5V is going to the "always on" part of my 3 way switches, there are 8 switches in total connected to t...
