Re: Can not Restore 462
OK, I was able to make progress: 1) in the backup.json, had to change : "require_auth":true to "require_auth":false Then that allowed the setting to restore and Process 0, restored but it stalled 2) Search I found this newer backup program, http://lawn-chair.github.io/bcs-backup/...

Can not Restore 462
Had a PWR failure the other day and the 462 came back up with a default config and new IP. I tried to do a restore from backup and it just gets about 10% and sits there forever. So I tried to do a back up and same results. Then I tied to reupgraded to 4.0.1, after the upgrade the 462 came back onlin...

Temp Probe - Adjust
I have 3 probes in-line in my HLT and I have a place to test with a certified temp probe, 2 of the probes are within a .1-2 but the other is 2.5-9 off, is there a way other than replacing the probe to compensate for this difference? Not sure if there is a calculator for Coefficient A, Coefficient B,...

Re: Outputs -- Stop when Process is running
Pause, did not know the timers continued during that time, that was my biggest concern, as doing pause during a live session well something you do not test. I do have a switch and breaker on each output but they can be 30-90 feet away and when you are in front of the PC, a mouse click is way faster ...

Re: Timer - Continue
But why can not the 'Continue' Integer be preset to 00:00:00? it appears that on State start that "ContinueTimerValue" = null and it is ignored. I have used loops in other Processes and "burning" a state is really not efficient. Then I have used all of the states within that proc...

Timer - Continue
In a State 1, I have a timer to keep track of total 'Boil time', then I also have a timer for Hop Additions. timers.png When the addition timer expires it exits to State 7 'Hop Addition' and this triggers a buzzer and light at my Boil Kettle (I have 3), then after adding the hops then going back to ...

Outputs -- Stop when Process is running
When a process is running, why can you not stop/disable a Output? outputs.png For example, I am mashing in, timers going all is fine, then say there is a issue with my mill, I need to stop, the only way to stop this is to Stop the process. Then when stopping the process all the timers are reset and ...

Re: Anyone have a Digi 16 for Sale?
Well I went with more 462's, divided them in to specific tasks like Mash, Brew, etc., as when I looked into the Expansions I could have had 1-2 BCS doing all but yea they were not what was expected. So the down side is a bit more cost but the upside is in a failure you have backups, just pull in you...

Events based on time?
Just wondering if there were plans to have a Process to be triggered based on Date/time? So now that the DIN bug is logged :) , the next thought is to say all is good and the HTL is full and ready and I am going to start my Brew Day @ 06:00 on Saturday the 5th, so I would like the 'HTL to Temp' proc...
