Re: Duplicate Steps
There is no native way to do this. I wrote a program to help, but it's big weakness is that any moving of states does not alter the exit conditions. All exit conditions affected by a move/copy/addition/deletion of a state will need to be manually adjusted. Thanks bbrally! Bookmarked your tool! I ha...

Duplicate Steps
Hello, Is there any way to easily duplicate a step, or insert a step between steps that exist? I have my Boil Process & steps already defined, and today I was thinking about adding a step between boil and whirlpool that opens up a valve to allow wort to cycle through my plate chiller. I would li...

Re: Issues with re-starting BCS, unexpected reset, lost o network
Thanks for the reply John. I think you may be correct. When I disabled DHCP I lost it on the network again. I get the same timeout error in chrome. Last night with everything operational I replaced it into my panel, which unfortunately blocks my reset button. Any ideas? Thanks in advance... time to ...

Re: Issues with re-starting BCS, unexpected reset, lost o network
Okay - quick update. I connected a router between my computer and the BCS... success! I have upgraded to 4.1.2 build (I think). And I have restored to my last backup from 2016 losing a few new processes that I created including my sour mash and whirlpool. But those should be easy to recover. So what...

Issues with re-starting BCS, unexpected reset, lost o network
Hey Everyone, Looking back its been about 5 years since my last post. Long story short, I have many successful brew days with the BCS! Fast forward, I haven't brewed in about 18 months. I moved into a new house, started a new job... life got in the way. Well here I am. I tied into my panel saturday....

Re: BCS Reset to default
Brahn,
Thanks for the feedback, I checked it on Firefox and it worked great.
I will be brewing today, and backing up after finishing all of my programming . Thank you both for all your help!
Cheers,
Max

Re: BCS Reset to default
Thanks for the responses Jon & Brahn
I checked Safari, downloads are configured to go to my Downloads folder, however I still have nothing. I sorted by date created, name etc. with no luck.
Should I be getting any success messages or anything once the backup is complete?
Cheers!

Re: BCS Reset to default
Since I have already broached the subject, where does the BCS Backup save? I am using the backup utility, it has found the BCS, the green bar scrolls across, but it never asks where to save it. Cant seem to find it in any logical places on my computer... As always, thank you for your help. Cheers, Max

Re: BCS Reset to default
Thanks for the response Jon. My initial state for my startup process opens a few 12v ball valves. It not until a few states in (after water level is high enough) that the first heating element turns on. No process auto starts on power up. Only a few volt/amp displays, PIDs and LEDs are on following ...

BCS Reset to default
I was planning on brewing today. I turned on my panel (which uses a DIN to enable the main system contactor). Everything worked fine. I had a few notes from my last brew day of tweaks I wanted to make to my process steps, so I jump into the process editor and make a few changes, verify that the top ...
