Oakbarn, what brand of contactors and breakers did you use, and where did you purchase them?

Thanks!

32a double pole breaker for 220v circuit randomly trips

Hello, I am running a BCS-462 in a control box with (6) 6,000w elements, each utilizing a 32a double pole breaker for 220v circuit. I am attempting to dial-in our boil kettle process using (2) elements, manually running them directly from the panel switches. Nothing else is being used. (2) volt/amp ...

Re: Current Software Version

Thanks, Jon. I understand that I can disable them. My issue is that I have a few auxiliary probes that are set up for multiple uses and they are unplugged when not in use but must remain enabled. I run a 2.5 BBL system and use all 8 probes. I have a large TV monitor mounted high on a wall in our bre...

Re: Current Software Version

I successfully installed v4.1.2. The question I have is why are all of my temperature probes that are unplugged reading -3276.8? They read correctly when plugged in.

Thank you, oakbarn & Jon. This box is running 60a x2 and a BCS-462. Ryan at EBS has (4) float switch XLR wired at the box utilizing pins 2 and 3 (side pins of the 3-pin triangle). For each XLR, one of the two wires is run to an element switch on the panel and the other to a relay, and then on to...

Re: BCS Float Switch Cable Pin Assignment

Thanks for the reply, Jon. My control box was a custom build by Electric Brewing Supply. I did email them about this, but no reply. From the inside of the box, it appears that the XLR's are wired using pins 1 & 2 (side pins if 3-pin triangle). I will insure that the DINs are enabled and assigned...
