Re: Stepper Motor Control

It's pretty far out the box. I suggest you use an analog hydro static pressure sensor. The BCS can't read it, but you can use an arduino or a threshold switch like http://automation.supply/products/mini- ... lue-switch.

Yes, I did the install correctly.

I may have a wheezy card, let me see if that's possible.

Re: BCS Desktop App (V 0.5.0) for Windows, Linux, Mac & Rpi

I was able to run it on the PC.

Maybe a Jessie issue... don't know. I will try to send you the output.

Re: BCS Desktop App (V 0.5.0) for Windows, Linux, Mac & Rpi

I didn't change anything other than the IP address in the config-settings.xml. It is therefore loading config-layout-jonw.xml

Unless you are talking about different XML?

Re: BCS Desktop App (V 0.5.0) for Windows, Linux, Mac & Rpi

No luck for me... crashes harder than Mr. Magoo piloting an F15. At first the main screen comes up, then when I go to the settings tab it crashes. I figured this was due to the wrong IP, so I edited the config file and entered the correct IP. Now it crashes right upon startup. I am running RPi 2 vB,...

Re: Self Latching Relay

OK, now I have no idea what you are trying to do. You are trying to latch an input to the BCS?

So, not sure from reading above... will this work on Jessie?

Re: Self Latching Relay

As you noted, use a latching relay. It will require two outputs on the BCS: one to latch and one to reset. The trick is to note that the BCS outputs can only drive a few milliamps, and the relay you are designing in will have a contact rating (that must exceed the circuit power you are switching dow...

My bet is that board will not work.
