Re: Parallel connection of outputs

Yes, looking hard at 4. But I have a lot of development into 3.7.1.
In 4, are my saved processes able to be uploaded? Does it use a different format?
Also, if I go to 4, is there a way to go back to 3.7.1 if I don't like it.

Re: Parallel connection of outputs

Two different temp probes- one in the brew pot, one in the freezer for fermentation. One ssr for either the chill water pump feeding the HE on the brew pot, or the freezer for the fermenter. I think you can only assign one temp probe per output? It's no big deal using isolation output diodes.

Parallel connection of outputs

Can the BCS-460 outputs be connected in parallel to drive the same load? Do I need to install isolating diodes on each output connected in parallel?

Re: Here is my PID (work in progress)

OK, can someone explain what iState is? Its listed in the algorithm, but it is not defined. The PID control scheme is named after its three correcting terms, whose sum constitutes the PID output, a number from 0-100%. pid_output = pTerm + iTerm - dTerm; where pTerm = pGain * err; iTerm = iGain * iSt...
