Looking to purchase BCS
Hello! Sadly my BrewTroller and backup BrewTroller have apparently released their magic smoke and will no longer boot. As a result I'm looking to purchase a BCS-460, 462, 482 anything I can get my hands on. Seems like BrewersHardware is on backorder still, and Electric Brew Supply doesn't seem to ca...

Re: BCS 4.0 .NET API and BCS Temperature Logger
My buddy reached out and requested a new feature or two on the temperature logger sample app and I was able to make some changes to accommodate his request. This version of the app also logs output status (0-15) and DIN status (0-8) and the api was updated to understand those commands. Included in t...

Re: BCS 4.0 .NET API and BCS Temperature Logger
Hey guys, sorry to have seemingly abandoned this. I never received a notification for new messages so I wasn't aware of replies. It took me researching the new BCS to remember where I left this! Hah. The little test-app app uses Windows.Forms from the .net framework and I'm not sure if that is compa...

Re: BCS 4.0 .NET API and BCS Temperature Logger
Heck yeah, I'm glad it is getting used.
Have you found much use for the data that comes out of it? Mostly is it for record keeping or curiosity?

Quadrachamber - Four Zone Fermentation Control
Hey guys! I wanted to share what came out of my fermentation chamber build. This is mostly copy/paste from my HomeBrewTalk thread but figured this group would enjoy it too. I tried uploading images here, but it keeps saying the image is invalid so I hosted them on Imgur. Hope it is OK to post like t...

Re: BCS 4.0 .NET API and BCS Temperature Logger
No problem at all, I wanted to make sure the app was stable (or actually working!) before doing some UI tweaks. I'm hesitant to call the address 'ip address' because you can enter a hostname such as BCS or MikesBCS or something like that. I'm assuming you can reset the hostname in BCS preferences. I...

Re: BCS 4.0 .NET API and BCS Temperature Logger
Ahh I had been meaning to fix that - the address box assumes you just enter the hostname/ip without http or the port but it isn't very clear. I will update the UI later to handle it better. Also I found a silly mistake on my end that caused the temp3 probe responses to fail. Should be working now! I...

Re: BCS 4.0 .NET API and BCS Temperature Logger
No problem at all! It is hard to troubleshoot remotely but your responses look as I would expect.
Just to make sure we are looking at the same program, you are using the v4 app linked in the first post which has the long weird version number on top, right?
