Re: Add More States to a Process
It works! Chaining two processes was very helpful. Now I can have one process as a three step mash and the next one as sparge and boil. the mash schedule uses 0) Strike (heats HLT uses PID function to strike temp) 1) Peptidase Rest (RIMS recirculate PID function 122 degrees, Exit on Peptidase Timer)...

Re: Tablet Suggestions
I use an android tablet attached to the front of my control panel. i mostly use it to view the processes and gauges and I use my laptop to change configurations or edit a process. The process editor is weak on the Android tablet. Oh.. Yeah... I use my phone to start my strike water while I am lying ...

Re: Temperature Probe failure?
No there is plenty of space between the rims element. I have never had an over heating experience. I have a flow switch between the rims and the mash tun that will not allow the rims element to heat without flow. It simply started giving me a different reading from one batch to the next. I know I so...

Re: Temperature Probe failure?
Are you saying I need to calibrate the probe every few months?
Is it going to change again later? Can I anticipate when it will want a new efficiency number in the future?
Is it going to happen in the middle of a huge brewday?
Thank you for the link

Re: MORE PROCESSES
Is there a way to include the duty cycle in the recipe utility? I program a two step boiling process. Process #1 (BOIL) PID heats water to 204 degrees and Exits to (BOILING) when it hits 203 degrees. Process #2 (BOILING) Duty Cycle controls the boil for the full time of the boil. Bigger beers boil a...

Re: Temperature Probe failure?
All three inputs are set at the same coefficienty. One of them still reads 7-8 degrees higher than the other two, even after I move it to another input. Kind of crappy since replacement probes seem to be impossible to get and Electric Brewing Supply does not respond to emails. UPDATE I did call and ...

Re: Temperature Probe failure?
I have three probes: (2) 1/2" MPT 2" long (TPBCSTF1202) BCS Temp Sensor with 8' lead (1) 1/2" MPT 4" long (TPBCSTF1204) BCS Temp Sensor with 8' lead The probe that I am having issue with is the 4" TPBCSTF1204. Should it have the same coefficienty? I have tested all three pro...
