Re: Updating firmware via USB DFU
Sending you the BCS-482 would not be feasible at this point. It is currently being utilized in a production capacity on two (3 bbl) fermenters and a jacketed brite tank. The inconvenience of having to hard reset it each time it locks up is a necessary evil at this point compared to having all produc...

Re: Updating firmware via USB DFU
Removed the devices as indicated in your message. Then loaded the libusbK drivers. Two devices show up as: libusbK USB Devices; BCS-482 Interface 2 and Interface 0. Both devices show up in Zadig with the libusbK (v.3.0.7.0) driver. The BCS DFU Flashing Utility displays the following: Match vendor ID...

Re: Updating firmware via USB DFU
Now it finds the BCS-482 on the Device Manager. Zadig also sees the BCS-482 Interface 2 and Interface 0. 1. (a) Loaded the WinUSB driver to Interface 2. (b) Then used the bcs-dfu.exe utility. It could not find a DFU device. 2. (a) Loaded the WinUSB driver to Interface 0. (b) Then used the bcs-dfu.ex...

Re: Updating firmware via USB DFU
The BCS-482 comes up as "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)" under the Windows 10 Device Manager. Zadig also sees the "Unknown USB Device" and there is no driver (NONE). How do I get a driver installed?

Network connection lost during temp setpoint changes
It seems there is a bug in the firmware of the BCS-482. Whenever I attempt to change the setpoint temperature of a FV1 while a process is running the BCS-482 will crash the network interface. While it appears that the NIC on the BCS-482 is still sending/receiving packets (the yellow led blinks on th...

Re: BCS 482 Hard Fail: Lost Connection
I'm having similar issues with the BCS-482 and changing the setpoint temperature while a process is running. Whenever I the "Temp up or down" on the temp gauge it will crash the network interface. That seems to happen when the process is running. I haven't experienced it within the Process...

Re: Ignighter or pilot flame for 2 Honeywell Gas Control Valves
Thank you Jon. Where do you position the igniter, directly over the burner? Do you have a picture you could share?

Re: Ignighter or pilot flame for 2 Honeywell Gas Control Valves
Jonw or brahn: I would like to replicate what you setup for your systems using Hot Surface Igniters. I purchased the "Complete BCS 3 Gas Kit" from Electric Brewing Supply which includes the following: Basic Kit Hardware 11 - LEDs (2 white 110v, 3 white 24v, 2 blue 110v, 1 red 110v, and 1 g...
