Re: 7-segment displays
Got home from work and wired it all up. Made my own jumper cables and power supply wiring. Think that I have one set to 2a and one 2b for I2C addr. Still get the debug light flashing. Any ideas?

Re: 7-segment displays
Got this quick response from OSCsys today. I should be able to get these up and running tonight. Hey Alan,Yeah we designed the displays to be daisy chained with locking jumper cables that we sell in the store. That way nothing can be hooked up backwards. We also have a jumper cable that has a lockin...

Re: 7-segment displays
I am so glad that someone is trying this. I have built my own BCS and two other systems for other brewers. We are all anxious to try the 7-segment displays. Thanks for the quick response.

7-segment displays
Has anyone bought and hooked up a 7-segment display yet? I am very interested in doing this. I have a BCS-460 with out any expansion cards. Will purchasing this http://www.oscsys.com/I2C-PID-Display.html work with my current setup? Thanks

Re: E-stop!
I acquired a spring loaded e stop button. It interupts the voltage to the BCS all together. If I need to interrupt my process in an emergency, I just cut power to the BCS. It shuts off all relays, but I can save a brew if need be.

Re: Wireless?
I use a MBP to set all of the following up. I am currently using an Extreme for the router, I have two Expresses in the network. Both are set to extend the network. I then just plug a Cat5 cable into one of the Expresses and I can connect to the network. Is that what you are trying to do?

Can any one post how to set up the public access point? I tried to follow the wiki page instructions but it did not work for me. Any help would be great. Thanks.
