Re: Multiple Temps to a single Out

Hi rednender. Temperature probe associations are usually static per PID (output), but you can swap PID settings on a per-state basis using the Alternate PID feature, accessible at the bottom of the Edit Processes page. More info here:

Re: System Restore failing to connect

We've had a few other reports of Brewbuddy acting up. The "Webkit" inserted into the config file is really strange. Once that happens, all bets are off since the BCS config is corrupted. That really points to some interface mishap (probably the Brewbuddy app, or the interaction between Brewbuddy and...

Re: Logging when an output is on.

The output shows a value of 100 when on, so you might just need to adjust the y-axis scale. Previous versions of the firmware had outputs logged at 0/1, but that was low compared to normal temp logging, so we changed it to 0/100 to better fit on the charts.

Re: Temp Probe Wiring

Grounding the unshielded wire on one end will have the benefit of giving you additional noise rejection. Although just having it gives you some benefit. Also, you may try grounding the BCS. http://www.embeddedcc.com/wiki/index.php?title=Wiring_and_Physical_Specifications#Grounding_the_BCS If you sus...

Re: Remote 7 seg display?

The I2C bus is typically not meant for long distances. Ideally less than 24".

Re: New Product! Power Switch Tail 2

Yeah, that would be cool. We don't manufacture these, but the manufacturer does have an SSR version... Although not at the voltage/current specs that you're looking for:

New Product! Power Switch Tail 2

We're really excited to offer a new product, the Power Switch Tail 2. This may be the 'missing piece' for many BCS users who want to control fermentation or other applications, but don't want to mess with 120v wiring! Check it out. http://www.embeddedcc.com/index.php/products/power-switch-tail-2.htm...
