Anyone Accessing BCS with Android Mini PC via USB- RJ-45 Net
I am planning on buying another BCS and dedicate it to fermentation, storage and serving chambers. I am running out of room on my current BCS-462 and could use existing heat/cool outputs, and temp inputs to add more functionality to my brewing processes. My plan is to take a 32” TV and mount it to t...

Advanced Hysteresis Parameters in The System Settings
I am having some issues where when I’m cooling my fermenters using hysteresis control. The temp will bounce in and out of range by a tenth of a degree causing the compressor to short cycle and is accelerating it's demise. I would like an adjustable setting that would set a minimum amount of time bet...

Re: New State Exit Result
Create a state called "Pause or RIMS Overtemp" within your process and continue timers from previous state. In this state you can have the heat off and pump running. Manually stop flow on output of pump and get flowing. Make an exit condition in this state that automatically goes back to t...

More features on the HMI builder page.
I would like to see a lot more functionality in the HMI Builder page for people like me who don't write code. Easy drag and drop customizing and maybe themes. Examples - - My biggest request would be to be able to have more temp gauge sizes and be able to overlay them onto the background image. I us...

Re: BCS-462 not refreshing using Firefox Windows 7 64bit
JohnW - I agree. FF has been a problem for me for quite some time but only after the recent update did the refresh issue become a major PITA. I searched for a resolution but once I tried Chrome..Bye Bye FF.
OneHoppyGuy - I may try Opera and see how it performs since I'm switching anyway. Thanks

Re: BCS-462 not refreshing using Firefox Windows 7 64bit
cscade - I installed Chrome a while ago with the intention of using it as my default browser but all my bookmarks where in IE and just used IE for convenience. I used Firefox solely for the BCS because it was recommended. Chrome was a pleasant surprise, the timers update as if they were real time an...

Re: BCS-462 not refreshing using Firefox Windows 7 64bit
"UPDATE" problem solved. Got tired of trying to fix Firefox so I tried Google Chrome. Firefox has been problems since day one and does not like residing on a windows 7 64 bit machine. Had problems all the time with it crashing, locking up and just overall slow performance. The ONLY thing I...

BCS-462 not refreshing using Firefox Windows 7 64bit
During my last brew session I discovered a new problem where the screen locks up in Firefox. It is about 5-10 seconds and then it quits updating the screen. I have to manually refresh the page to get updated screens. The BCS continues to work and is not affected only the screen update. I recently in...

Re: New Product! Power Switch Tail 2
Good price and saves time building one. I've been building these in PVC deep duplex boxes with SSR's inside wired to outlets. Easy to build and can control two circuits for heat and cool in one box.
Nice product.
Nice product.

Re: Add Temp Gauge As A Widget In HMI Builder
Thanks for the quick response, though I believe it is over my head. I have not tampered with the code in my BCS yet and need to become a little more familiar before I will feel comfortable doing so. I was referring to adding a temp gauge in the drop down options and be able to drag it where you need...
