Re: 1/16 DIN sized I2C display
I purchased for of these from oscsys and was asking them several questions. I did ask why it was not 1/16 Din. They said good question and they would look at fixing that. I did manage to get one enclosure done and I have a bezel to cover my course cut. I did not bleed on it but came close. :oops: I ...

Re: PID and Hysteresis Output Period
Currently I do use propane because I have not wired in electric. I would likely continue to use gas for most of my heating power but I use a small amount of water for HERMS. We use a Chin Chiller as our HERMS with two PUMPS. One cycles the Wort and the Other the HLT water. We have a "real"...

Re: PID and Hysteresis Output Period
Output period is only used for PID, not hysteresis http://wiki.embeddedcc.com/index.php/Output_PWM_Control I am just trying to find out how and what the BCS will do BEFORE I set up my Processes. I know what I manually do on a Brew Day so I am trying to gain some knowledge before I implement my Pr...

PID and Hysteresis Output Period
In System Setting => PID and Hysteresis Output Control Settings => Output period. It defaults to 3. What is "3" and how do you enter a different time? I tried to enter the time in the 00:00:00 format but it just saved as "O". My best guess is 3 seconds, but I am not sure.

Exit Condition
Edit Processes:Exit Conditions
In the exit conditions you have
Is => (Time or Temp)
Is <= (Time or Temp)
Is On (DIN or Web Input)
Is Off (DIN or Web Input)
And “- -“
What is “ –“ and how do you use it?

Re: Alarms Issues
e mail on Alarm is likely related to your ISP blocking Port 25. I have tried several things to get the alarm to sound on the IPhone (Yes, Alice. You can simply connect using Safari on the Iphone to connect to the BCS without Brew Buddy) but have had no luck. I assume it is the way the Iphone cache w...

Re: Getting Close to Build
Here is a diagram of my BCS 462 Panel. I will have the AC Power on a Lighted Pilot Switch. The power is U.P.S. with surge protection. There will be a standard 115VAC Wall outlet in the box where I will plug in the wall wart. This could be outside the enclosure if needed but I did not see any problem...

You need two of them. One on each end of the long wires.lewdog50 wrote:here is an option for increasing the bus length safely

Re: Getting Close to Build M12 Panel Mounts
I have seen PIX of panels that have the BCS and the relays in the same box. For a couple of reasons I want my BCS more accessible as I have limited wall space for the control panel which I want to mount out of the way. I plan to have my BCS 462 in a box all by itself with the wall wart and all the r...

Re: TFTP server application
I like TFTPUtil (http://sourceforge.net/projects/tftputil/) It is free and easy to use as well. Using on Win 7 x 64 and do not have the issue. I also like the way it "informs" you of what it is doing.
