Just FYI - Adam does have volume sensing listed on the roadmap. Hopefully it will be in one of the coming updates.

In the mean time, this is a pretty slick solution.

That would be a very cool level sensor. Visual & electronic! The specs say it is only good to 140 degrees (F).

Was the mash tun pre-heated with your strike water to hit your original strike temp or did it drop considerably right at mash in? What kind of flow rate and heat rise are you getting out of your RIMS tube? Seems like...

Yeah, that is pretty weird since we have 3 other stands with the same setup.

BTW, I'm doing a double-batch brew day on 6/3. There will be at least 3 other people coming that day that have BCS systems. Might be a good time to chat and discuss how each of us do things.
