Re: My version of the HMI builder

I don't think I really wanted Tee's and corners. I fought it for the longest time. I just didn't know how to do it without a thousand if statements all through my code. And I didn't really think they were necessary. But I woke the other morning and had the answer to solve the problem without changin...

Re: My version of the HMI builder

Or the ability to flip the current corner pieces so the flow lines are correct. Perhaps I'm not understanding, but the plumbing direction of the corner lines should be accurate. Direction only matters if the lines are a source of pressure, in which case the flow can only go from the straight end to...

Re: My version of the HMI builder

T's, corners, and 3-way valves are all very difficult to incorporate as they do not fit within the current standard for an object. That's not to say it can't be done, it's just been much easier to do all the other stuff. It's still in the back of my mind, but an easy solution is still eluding me. 3-...

Re: My version of the HMI builder

Between work and family, this update (ver 0.6.0) took a long time. http://bbrally.altervista.org/guibeta/index.html But there's a lot in here: Objects can be identified as to their Output/DIN/Probe assignment via the Palette tab check boxes Objects can be assigned negative values for Outputs and DIN...

Re: Temperature Coefficient Issues

PM oakbarn. He wrote a how to on the use of the calculator and calibrating probes. Perhaps he will share that document if asked. There is also lots of information on the web about calibrating thermistors. just google "thermistor calibration" or "determine steinhart-hart coefficients&q...

Re: My version of the HMI builder

I can't reproduce this. Can you give more details.

Remember that the manual control only works if there are no outputs referenced in any ladder logic programming and there are no running states where the outputs are enabled.

Re: My version of the HMI builder

image of a fermenter on a kettle Not sure what you mean by this. Some more info and I'll be happy to help out however I can. Oakbarn wrote up a pretty good tutorial for this. Maybe it will help clarify things. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_cTc87WaGKGc2pQYUVENWFXQ3c I'm away from my computer t...

Re: My version of the HMI builder

I didn't realize there were so many configurations. I have an idea for something that might accomplish this and also enable a couple of other flow display options. May take a while as my free time is coming to an end. Stay tuned.

Re: My version of the HMI builder

Most of the formatting properties can be figured out just by experimenting, but "border" and "border radius" are more confusing. Border defines the thickness of the border line, the style of the line (solid, dashed, etc.), and the color. The order is not important, just a space b...
