I considered the PID period, but my assumption is that it would begin it's cycle at process start, which is not what I want if the compressor had just gone off from a power drop out. We unfortunately have a fair number of those in my area. Also, since the compressor only needs to run for two minutes...

Excellent pointers. In googling around it seems like Honeywell is pretty much *the* supplier for this type of controller. A few things that concern me are: - I don't see photos for the actual pilot assembly anywhere, how does it mount, what does it look like? I'm assuming it would need to be mounted...
