Hi,
Was this "issue" addressed in the 4.0 release? I did not see any documentation referencing it, but I did notice fairly fast "blink" rates on my elements during a brew this weekend... Please let me know any changes related to my original issue/post. Thanks!

Re: TFTP Assistance Needed
FW upgrades do not come but once every couple of years in general, so this is not really a huge issue. Nice upgrade... yes. But big fish to fry... no.
Would much rather have the developer's energies put into main screen temp changes! Oops, I did it again!

Re: BCS 4.0.0 firmware released
Sorry, I do not have this TFTP server... I have the original one recommended by ECC. Perhaps JonW or another can post up the step by step to get it running. Once it is running correctly, you navigate to your BCS (as normal, via a web browser), then go to settings and upgrade firmware.

Re: BCS 4.0.0 firmware released
I agree the upgrade instructions could/should be more explicit/detailed. We probably take it for granted because we have been upgrading beta's for a while. Re: Flow Switch Ladder Logic?
I suck with ladder, but there is certainly a way to do it! Maybe with a logical OR?

Re: Flow Switch Ladder Logic?
Ladder is not the last and final logic applied before the hardware is actually updated. If you have a ladder that says Din On -> Pump On, then the reverse will also be true, i.e. Din Off -> Pump off. So you need to add a qualifier in front like Pump Off -> Din On -> Pump On. Make sense? -BD

Re: Frying contactor
Taking some stabs at your schematic in general... 1. Is the ground tied to the breaker? I see a three conductor input, but with both legs and a neutral it should carry a ground back to the panel as well. You show it separate. 2. Get rid of that silly PJ resistor/GFI fault design. Purposely tripping ...

Re: BCS 4.0 Public Beta 3
Yes... that could work...
...damnit, stop one-upping me!
Kidding aside, this is a good idea, and I do have reservations for some other devices... I would recommend this for a new setup. BUT I am kinda old school and like that warm cozy feeling knowing I assigned the IP.
