Re: BCS-462 wiring for relay and ball valves
I know I am not adding value in this thread with this comment... but... What is the value of electric ball valves exactly? I would like to add some, but if they are not proportional (aka big $$$) then I am not sure the point. I suppose switching pump inputs makes sense, but outputs still require man...

Re: Comments on BCS 4.0 public beta 3
I SOOOOOO agree with being able to move states up or down. I have found myself playing the copy game too many times in an effort to add or remove steps. A simple copy or arrow scheme would be great!!

Re: First full brew - some interface feedback
I gotta reiterate my reiteration! Please add some type of real-time control of duty cycle. Almost had a few boil-overs this weekend which required slamming the E- stop a couple of times. Having this and temp control right on the main page would make the BCS nearly perfect. Maybe the reported set poi...

Thanks guys! Gotta love this forum as a resource.
But, you know the question I am going to ask next...

Re: Flow Switch Ladder Logic?
Thanks for validating, Jon. I appreciate you taking time to test this. The switch I have is not a dry contact, but I could have it drive a transistor/relay combo to inhibit the signal to the SSR. Unfortunately I designed and installed the hardware on faith of the documentation, which is ladder holds...

Flow Switch Ladder Logic?
Gents, I have a problem that I am trying to solve but having difficulty... figured I needed to ask the gururururus here... I have a flow switch that detects flow through my RIMS tube. It correctly turns DIN4 on when there is flow, and DIN4 correctly turns off when there is not flow --> so the hardwa...

Re: Alternate PID removed in 4.0?
You may be right - this could potentially work. Keep in mind diodes have about a 0.7 V drop across them, but that may not be enough to matter (SSR should trigger at 4.3V). I will test this and report back. Thanks for the idea. Of course this does not fix the original request, so two outputs are stil...
